On November 21, 2025, Yongxiu County, Jiangxi Province signed a cooperation agreement with Quzhou Research Institute and Organic Silicon Innovation Research Institute of Zhejiang University to jointly establish the "Organic Silicon New Materials Joint Laboratory" at the 8th China Fluorosilicon Industry Green Development Conference. This move marks a crucial step for Yongxiu in building a full chain innovation ecosystem of "basic research+technological breakthroughs+achievement transformation", injecting new momentum into its pursuit of the goal of becoming a "global organic silicon innovation center".


Policy support and platform construction
As the most complete organic silicon industry base in the domestic industrial chain, Yongxiu County has gathered more than 170 upstream and downstream enterprises, developed more than 1300 types of products, and achieved an industrial correlation of 70%. To break through the bottleneck of high-end fluorinated chemicals, special silane and other technologies, the local government has established a 30 million yuan innovation incentive fund and created five major public service platforms:


Organic Silicon Pilot Base: Provides transitional support from laboratory to mass production, with 23 incubated projects;
Provincial testing center: certified by CNAS, with a service coverage of 60% of organic silicon enterprises nationwide;
Industrial Brain Digital Platform: Real time monitoring of global patent trends, warning of technology blockade risks;
Chemical Engineering Training Base: Training over 2000 technical workers annually to alleviate the shortage of talent in the industry;
Science and Technology Achievement Transfer and Transformation Center: Connect with the resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and universities to promote the implementation of bio based technologies such as rice husk silane production.
Enterprise Innovation and Industrial Upgrading
Under policy guidance, Yongxiu Enterprise is accelerating its transformation towards high-end products. The "Low Carbon Process Joint Laboratory" jointly established by Spark Group and Wanhua Chemical has successfully developed the technology of reducing consumption through the chloromethane method, with a unit energy consumption 20% lower than the industry average; The Brazilian sugarcane based methanol project laid out by Hesheng Silicon Industry has solved the problem of "methanol metal silicon" price linkage, reducing raw material costs by 15%. In addition, cutting-edge products such as medical grade silicone rubber and shape memory artificial muscles have entered the clinical or commercial stage, and are expected to drive a new market size of over 50 billion yuan by 2028.


International Cooperation and Global Layout
Facing trade barriers such as EU carbon tariffs, Yongxiu Enterprise enhances its competitiveness through global cooperation. Eken Organic Silicon's Korean factory has achieved ten years of zero accident operation, and its photovoltaic encapsulation adhesive products have passed the EU carbon footprint certification, occupying 30% of the global market share; The "Molecular Design Blockade Cracking Laboratory" jointly established by Dongyue Group and Wacker Chemie in Germany has successfully developed electronic grade silicone oil as an alternative to imports, and the localization rate is expected to exceed 70% by 2026.


Yongxiu County Party Secretary Qinling stated that in the future, relying on the "one core, multiple points" industrial layout, efforts will be made to cultivate three leading enterprises with billions of yuan by 2027, build a billion yuan organic silicon industry cluster, and become a global technology source and standard setter.
