In April 2025, in Cangshan Industrial Agglomeration Zone, Tiantai County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Tiansi New Materials Co., Ltd.'s "Annual Production of 20000 Tons of Silicone Oil and Deep Processing Project" reached a critical milestone - the main building was officially topped out. Since the project started in August 2024, the pile foundation engineering and more than half of the civil construction have been completed, and the equipment procurement and installation plan has been orderly promoted. It is expected to enter the trial production stage by the end of 2025. As the core project of Tiantai County's "Industrial Eastward Expansion" strategy, with a total investment of 225 million yuan, it focuses on high-end products such as methyl silicone oil, functional silicone oil, and silicone synthetic leather, aiming to create a silicone oil industry chain with high temperature aging resistance, environmental protection and safety characteristics.


The project has significant technical highlights: it adopts a fully automatic continuous production line and DCS distributed control system to achieve closed operation of the entire process of raw material transportation, reaction control, and distillation separation. Only 2-3 employees are needed to complete the entire line management. The production process achieves "zero discharge" of wastewater and ultra-low emission of exhaust gas, coupled with an automatic monitoring system to ensure comprehensive compliance with environmental protection indicators. The product has a wide range of application fields, among which organic silicone synthetic leather and industrial park automotive interior enterprises form upstream and downstream synergy, while functional silicone oil targets the international high-end market, meeting EU environmental standards with green technology, and helping Chinese cosmetics enhance their export competitiveness.


Mao Kaibiao, the initiator of the Tiansi New Materials project and a senior engineer in the organic silicon industry, stated that the project's implementation is driven by both hometown sentiment and industry prospects. The government of Tiantai County has established a special coordination group to efficiently solve more than 20 problems such as soil disposal and forest land approval through the joint meeting mechanism, clearing obstacles for the development of enterprises.
