Jiangxi Yongxiu Organic Silicon "Industrial Brain" Drives Industrial Intelligence Leap

Hits: 873 img

Jiangxi, China, September 7, 2025- The organic silicon industry cluster in Yongxiu County, Jiangxi Province, is accelerating its transformation towards intelligence and high-end direction with the "industrial brain" as the core engine. As the first county-level digital platform for the organic silicon industry in China, this system integrates industrial operating systems and industrial APP models to connect the production, inventory, and logistics data of more than 160 upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain in real time, building a full chain digital twin system covering "quartz ore monomer terminal products".

Intelligent scheduling improves production efficiency
In the production workshop of Maihao Organic Silicon, equipment operation data is transmitted in real-time to the "Industrial Brain" control center through 5G network. The system is based on machine learning algorithms to dynamically analyze more than 200 parameters such as equipment vibration and temperature, and provides a 48 hour warning of potential faults. Since the beginning of this year, the company has reduced equipment downtime by 62% and unit product energy consumption by 18%. Similar scenarios are becoming popular within clusters: Spark Organic Silicon optimizes production plans through intelligent scheduling modules, reducing order delivery cycles by 30%; Cabot Company utilizes energy consumption monitoring function to save over 10 million yuan in steam costs annually.

Collaborative solution of industrial chain to overcome 'information silos'
The industrial chain data sharing mechanism built on the platform effectively solves the collaborative problem between upstream and downstream enterprises. Taking photovoltaic adhesive production as an example, when downstream enterprises experience a surge in orders, the system automatically sends production capacity warnings to upstream individual enterprises, while coordinating with logistics enterprises to allocate transportation vehicles. Data shows that the inventory turnover rate of enterprises within the cluster has increased by 40%, and the response time for raw material supply has been reduced from 72 hours to 8 hours. More noteworthy is the "virtual factory" function developed by the platform, which allows small and medium-sized enterprises to access the idle production capacity of leading enterprises through the cloud and achieve resource sharing.

Green transformation leads to sustainable development
Faced with the pressure of the "dual carbon" target, the "industrial brain" integrates a carbon footprint tracking module to accurately calculate the emissions throughout the product lifecycle. Dongyue Silicon Material has optimized its process route through this system, reducing the carbon emission intensity per unit product by 22% and successfully passing the EU carbon tariff certification. In the field of circular economy, the silicone rubber recycling network connected by the platform has covered major cities across the country, and the performance of recycled silicone rubber has reached 95% of raw materials, reducing solid waste emissions by 120000 tons annually.

Innovation ecology stimulates new quality productivity
Based on the industry data gathered by the platform, Yongxiu County and the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly established a joint laboratory and successfully developed a bio based silicone rubber preparation technology. This technology utilizes rice husk ash to extract highly active silane, reducing raw material costs by 35%. The related achievements have been applied in the production of medical grade catheters. At the same time, the "Organic Silicon+AI" innovation factory incubated by the platform has cultivated 17 patented technologies such as shape memory silicone rubber and self-healing coatings, among which artificial muscle materials have entered the commercialization stage of the robotics industry.

Expert review: Li Ming, Secretary General of the China Organic Silicon Industry Association, said, "The Yongxiu model provides a replicable sample for the digital transformation of traditional industrial clusters, and its core value lies in reconstructing industrial cooperation relationships through the circulation of data elements. This innovation may redefine the global competitiveness of China's organic silicon industry
