This digital platform, built with an investment of 40 million yuan, is reconstructing the ecosystem of China's silicone industry through the "industrial operating system+industrial APP" model, promoting Yongxiu's transition from the "capital of silicone in China" to a global high-end manufacturing base.


Industrial Brain: Cracking the Collaboration Dilemma
Yongxiu County has gathered more than 160 upstream and downstream enterprises such as Blue Star Spark and Cabot, forming the world's most comprehensive matrix of over 1600 types of organic silicon products. However, traditional industrial chains suffer from pain points such as information silos, inventory mismatches, and repeated investment in research and development. The industrial brain, which will be launched in 2024, solves the dilemma by building three core modules:


Production collaboration module: connects 2300 equipment data from 68 core enterprises to achieve full process monitoring from metal silicon smelting to terminal products. Taking Maihao Organic Silicon as an example, by monitoring the temperature curve of the reaction kettle in real-time, the accuracy of equipment failure prediction has been improved to 92%, reducing downtime losses by over 20 million yuan annually.
Supply chain optimization module: Establish a dynamic inventory sharing platform, and increase the average inventory turnover rate of upstream and downstream enterprises by 40%. In the second quarter of 2025, a certain rubber mixing enterprise urgently allocated 300 tons of silicone oil through the platform to avoid a 120 million yuan order default caused by raw material shortages.
Research and development co creation module: Build a virtual laboratory to support 20 enterprises in jointly developing a new type of thermal conductive silicone. By 2025, we will successfully overcome the technological bottleneck of 5G base station heat dissipation materials, with a thermal conductivity of 8W/m · K, which is 300% higher than traditional materials.
Green Intelligent Manufacturing: Refactoring the Industrial Gene
Driven by the industrial brain, Yongxiu's organic silicon industry is accelerating its green transformation. In the Spark Park, the world's first organic silicon waste cracking unit has been operating stably for 18 months, processing 28000 tons of waste silicone gel annually, and regenerating DMC (dimethyl cyclic siloxane) with a purity of 99.95%, directly reducing raw material costs by 15%. More noteworthy is that the industrial brain optimizes the smelting process through AI algorithms, reducing the comprehensive energy consumption per ton of industrial silicon to 9.8 tons of standard coal, which is 23% lower than the industry average level.


We are building a 'silicon electricity carbon' cycle system, "said Li Wei, director of the Yongxiu County Bureau of Industry and Information Technology. With the carbon footprint tracking function of the industrial brain, the park plans to achieve 100% green electricity supply by 2026, and the carbon emission intensity per unit output value will decrease by 50% compared to 2020. Talent Ecology: Activating Innovation Momentum
Industrial upgrading cannot be separated from talent support. The Organic Silicon New Materials Research Institute jointly established by Yongxiu County and East China University of Science and Technology has trained 127 research and development talents with master's degrees or above. In the "Talent Map" module of the Industrial Brain, the system accurately matches 38 cross enterprise R&D teams by analyzing the enterprise's technology needs and talent skill matrix. In 2025, the "Silicon based New Energy Materials Research and Development Group" jointly established by five enterprises successfully developed silicon carbon negative electrode materials for power batteries, with an energy density exceeding 420Wh/kg. It is expected to form a market size of 2 billion yuan by 2026.


The industrial brain is not a cold system, but a digital twin of organic silicon people, "said Qinling, the secretary of Yongxiu County Party Committee. In the next three years, he will invest 200 million yuan to upgrade the platform, focusing on breaking through the application of quantum computing in molecular simulation, striving to build the world's first organic silicon industry metaverse by 2028, and promoting China's transformation from an organic silicon giant to an intelligent manufacturing powerhouse.
