On October 20, 2025, Yongxiu County, Jiangxi Province, successfully concluded the 8th China Fluorosilicon Industry Green Development Conference and the 21st Organic Silicon Academic Exchange Conference with the theme of "Innovation drives green fluorosilicon, technology leads organic future". The conference gathers top universities, research institutes, and leading enterprises from across the country to jointly explore the high-end, intelligent, and green development path of the organic silicon industry.


Industrial Ecology: Over 170 Enterprises Build Full Chain Clusters
After more than 30 years of development, Yongxiu Organic Silicon Industry Cluster has gathered more than 170 upstream, downstream and supporting enterprises, developed more than 1300 products, and achieved a 70% industrial correlation, becoming the most complete base in the domestic industrial chain. During the academic exchange session, Professor Li Zhibo from Zhejiang University released the technology of "synthesis of organosilicon materials catalyzed by phosphonitrile bases", providing a new path for precise molecular synthesis; Professor Jiang Bo from Harbin Institute of Technology showcased "Wearable Self Repairing Organic Silicon Electronic Skin" to expand the application scenarios of human-computer interaction; Professor Liao Jun from Wuhan University interprets organic silicon modification technology to promote the upgrading of composite material properties. In terms of enterprises, Hubei Jianghan New Materials showcased the optimized molecular structure of acyloxysilane, highlighting the effectiveness of industry university research collaborative innovation.


Green Transformation: Parallel Implementation of Circular Economy and Low Carbon Technology
Faced with changes in international rules such as the EU's "carbon footprint tracing" survey, the industry is accelerating its green transformation. Dongyue Group has upgraded its path through the chloromethane method, achieving a new single unit energy consumption that is 20% lower than the industry average; Guangzhou pilot silicone adhesive recycling system, with recycled material properties close to those of primary materials; Biobased organic silicon has an annual growth rate of over 35%, becoming a new engine of growth.


Global layout: Southeast Asian market and high-end breakthrough
Tongwei Corporation collaborates with international renewable energy developers to deeply cultivate the Southeast Asian photovoltaic adhesive market; Nolion is expanding its alkyl metal production capacity in Jiaxing, achieving a doubling of triethylaluminum production. In the high-end manufacturing field, Hesheng Silicon Industry's 6-inch semiconductor substrate crystal yield rate has reached 90%, and 8-inch samples have entered the verification stage, breaking the technological monopoly of Europe and America.


Policy escort: Provincial support to assist cluster upgrading
The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province stated that it will focus on cluster, high-end, and green development, support Yongxiu in building a provincial-level advanced manufacturing cluster, develop high-end products such as methyl benzene silicone rubber and silicone oil, and build a "brain of organic silicon industry". Jiujiang City is promoting the intelligent upgrading of leading industries such as petrochemicals and new materials through the "9610" project.


The convening of this conference further consolidates the brand effect of Yongxiu as the "Silicon Capital" and injects strong momentum into the high-quality development of the industry.
