On October 17, 2025, the three-day 8th China Fluorosilicon Industry Green Development Conference and the 21st Organic Silicon Academic Exchange Conference came to a successful conclusion in Yongxiu, Jiangxi. The theme of this conference is "Innovation drives green fluorosilicon, technology leads organic future", attracting more than 500 industry experts, enterprise representatives, and government officials to jointly explore low-carbon transformation paths and industrial upgrading opportunities.
Green technology becomes the focus
During the conference, the CCID Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the "Low Carbon Process Route Selection Model for the Organic Silicon Industry", which clarifies that the unit energy consumption of newly built single units should be 20% lower than the industry average, and promotes the replacement of traditional fixed bed technology with fluidized bed reactors. The "Molecular Grade Siloxanes Precision Control Technology" showcased by Eken Organic Silicon Spark Group has increased product purity to 99.99%, reducing waste emissions by 30% compared to traditional processes. In addition, the Quzhou Research Institute of Zhejiang University has signed a cooperation agreement with Yongxiu County to jointly build a pilot base for organic silicon, focusing on tackling bottleneck technologies such as bio based silicone rubber and medical grade mixed rubber.
Continuous optimization of industrial ecology
During the theme promotion, Zhu Chao, the county mayor of Yongxiu, revealed that the local area has formed a "five chain coordinated" development model:
Element integration chain: Build a 40 million yuan "industrial brain" platform to achieve a digital coverage rate of over 85% in equipment operation and maintenance, inventory management, and other aspects;
Innovation R&D Chain: Establish a 30 million yuan innovation incentive fund to support enterprises in purchasing patent technology for conversion, and provide a 30% subsidy for projects that are put into operation within 18 months;
Quality testing chain: Provincial testing centers have passed CNAS certification and can test more than 2000 items, shortening the testing cycle to 3 working days;
Talent cultivation chain: The chemical engineering training base trains over 2000 technical workers annually and collaborates with Hangzhou Normal University to establish the Jiujiang branch of the Key Laboratory of Organic Silicon Education Ministry;
Capital operation chain: By introducing strategic investors and issuing green bonds, the financing cost of enterprises can be reduced by 1.5-2 percentage points.
Project signing and future planning
At the conference, 12 projects were signed with a total investment of 6.8 billion yuan, covering high-end silicone oil, electronic grade silane coupling agents and other fields. Among them, the "High Purity Electronic Grade Silane Project" jointly developed by Jiangxi Haiduo Organic Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Normal University will break the foreign technology monopoly and meet more than 90% of the demand in the semiconductor industry after completion.
According to the "Three Year Doubling Action Plan for the Organic Silicon Industry in Yongxiu County", by 2028, the local area will cultivate three enterprises with an annual output value exceeding 5 billion yuan and two listed enterprises, forming three major sub sectors of billions of yuan represented by new energy materials, biomedical silicone, and intelligent wearable materials, and fully striving for the goal of "billion yuan organic silicon industry cluster".
