The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center from November 5th to 10th, 2025. As an "old friend" who has participated in the exhibition for eight consecutive years, global silicone giant Eken Group, with the theme of "Silicon Plastic Transition, Quality Leading the Future", showcased its breakthrough achievements in embodied intelligence, high-end healthcare, smart cities and other fields at booth A3-01 in the 4.1 technical equipment exhibition area, and announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with Klaus Maffei to jointly build an innovative industrial chain ecosystem from materials to equipment.

Four core areas showcase technological strength
Eken's exhibition revolves around four major scenes:

Future technology: Targeting the needs of embodied intelligent robot joint drive, tactile sensing, etc., we have launched a highly reliable organic silicon solution to support the penetration of artificial intelligence from virtual to physical scenes;
Smart Mobility: Providing protective and thermal management materials for the three electric systems of new energy vehicles, its submerged cooling technology can reduce energy consumption in smart computing centers by 30%;
Better Life: Introducing new personal care products such as oil control moisturizing cream and sunscreen isolation lotion for adolescent skin problems, using natural formulas to achieve efficient protection;
Smart City: Providing safety materials for low altitude aircraft cabins, green sealing products for buildings, etc., to assist in the low-carbon transformation of cities.
Strategic cooperation opens up a new model of industrial chain collaboration
During the exhibition, Eken and Klaus Maffei signed a strategic cooperation agreement in response to China National Chemical Corporation's "materials+equipment+products" strategy. Both parties will integrate Eken's high-performance liquid silicone rubber with Klaus Maffei's precision injection molding technology to create end-to-end solutions in fields such as healthcare and automotive. For example, in the manufacturing of high-end medical devices, the collaborative optimization of materials and equipment can increase the product yield rate to 99.5% and production efficiency by 40%.

Green transformation leads the industry towards sustainable development
Eken launches Sircle simultaneously ™ The combination of recycled organic silicon products reduces the carbon footprint of the entire product lifecycle by 25% by introducing biobased and recycled materials. This series has been applied in fields such as Ningde Times battery packaging and Longi green energy photovoltaic modules, helping to reduce carbon emissions in the new energy industry. In addition, Elkem medical grade silicone materials have become a core supplier for multinational companies such as Johnson&Johnson and Medtronic due to their excellent biocompatibility, with a global market share exceeding 35%.

The Chinese market has become a global growth pole
Chen Yan, Senior Vice President of Elkem Group, stated, "China is not only the world's largest market for organic silicon consumption, but also a highland for technological innovation. Over the past five years, our R&D investment in China has grown at an average annual rate of 18%, and our localization team has led the development of 12 globally launched products." Data shows that by 2025, Elkem China's revenue will account for 42%, with revenue growth rates in the new energy vehicle and healthcare sectors reaching 58% and 33% respectively, becoming the core engine driving global performance growth.
