In organic synthesis laboratories, ethyl silicone oil is widely used as an oil bath medium, with an open cup flash point of over 300 ℃ and superior safety performance. The safe temperature of the magnetic stirrer should be at least 25 ℃ lower than the flash point of the silicone oil when opening the cup, and the product shelf life is usually 36 months from the factory.
