It is expected that the global market size will climb to 1.865 billion yuan by 2030. As an important sub category of ethyl silicone oil, this set of numbers reflects the strong momentum of the entire track.


Ethyl silicone oil (polydiethylsiloxane) has long dominated traditional markets such as mold release agents, instrument oils, hydraulic oils, and electrical insulation materials due to its excellent properties of flash point exceeding 265 ℃, working temperature range of -60 ℃ to 150 ℃, and complete solubility with mineral oils. Since 2026, an emerging application is rewriting its growth curve - liquid cooling heat dissipation.

SH) clearly stated on the investor interaction platform that its products such as phenyl silicone oil and vinyl silicone oil can be applied in the field of liquid cooled silicone oil, and its research and development work has made positive progress. At the same time, Shenzhen Debon Interface Materials applied for a thermal conductive silicone grease patent for aerospace electronic equipment in January this year. Its formula clearly uses ethyl silicone oil with a viscosity of 50-1000 mPa · s as the core component, aiming to meet the heat dissipation needs of aerospace electronic equipment in extreme space environments.


From liquid cooling in data centers to aerospace cooling, from polar scientific research to thermal management of new energy vehicles, the application boundaries of ethyl silicone oil are constantly expanding. At present, concentrated industrial clusters have been formed in Hubei, Jiangsu, Shanghai and other places. Enterprises such as Hubei Chenghai Chemical and Hubei Qifei Pharmaceutical Chemical have large-scale supply capabilities, with product purity reaching 99%, covering industrial grade, daily chemical grade and scientific research reagent grade.
