Recently, several domestic fine chemical enterprises have jointly completed the optimization of the low-temperature resistant formula for ethyl silicone oil, further expanding the lower limit of the product's long-term stable working temperature from the original -60 ℃ to -75 ℃, and the relevant performance indicators have reached the advanced level of similar international products. After this technological upgrade, the lubricity and dielectric stability of low-temperature resistant ethyl silicone oil have been greatly improved in extremely cold environments, which can meet the long-term operation needs of high-altitude outdoor precision instruments and cold area electrical insulation equipment.
From market data, the current reference price for low-temperature resistant ethyl silicone oil in the domestic market is about 150 yuan/unit. More than 100 suppliers have completed the mass production layout of this type of product, and the number of related products available for screening on online platforms has exceeded 140. Unlike conventional ethyl silicone oil products, the upgraded low-temperature resistant model retains the core advantages of low surface tension and strong chemical stability, while strengthening the characteristics of non solidification and low viscosity fluctuations in low-temperature environments. Currently, it has been supplied in bulk to fields such as aerospace electronic equipment and industrial instruments in cold regions. Downstream customers have reported that the equipment maintenance cycle has been extended by an average of more than 30%. Industry analysis believes that with the continuous release of demand for special lubricating materials in China, ethyl silicone oil products that combine low temperature resistance and electrical insulation properties will have a broader application space in precision manufacturing, new energy electrical and other segmented scenarios.
