New breakthrough in low-temperature lubrication technology with ethyl silicone oil, further upgrading its application in aviation and precision manufacturing fields

In July 2026, the domestic silicone material research and development team will complete a new round of process optimization for the low-temperature performance of ethyl silicone oil, stabilize the gel point of the product below -70 ℃, and cover the working temperature range from -70 ℃ to 150 ℃, further enhancing its lubrication performance under extreme conditions.


As a special silicone oil that combines low temperature resistance, low viscosity coefficient, and high dielectric properties, ethyl silicone oil can be well miscible with mineral oil and synthetic oil, while retaining core characteristics such as waterproofing, chemical corrosion resistance, and non corrosion to metals. Previously, this product has been widely used in precision instruments, synchronous motor bearings, aviation shock absorbers, and other scenarios. After this technological upgrade, its operational stability in high-altitude and low-temperature environments, as well as outdoor precision equipment in deep cold regions, has been improved by more than 30%. It can effectively solve the industry pain points of traditional lubricating materials being prone to solidification and lubrication failure in ultra-low temperature environments.


At present, the optimized ethyl silicone oil has been supplied in bulk to multiple precision manufacturing and aviation supporting enterprises in China. The adaptability of related products in hydraulic systems, special fiber processing, gas chromatography carriers and other scenarios has also been further expanded, providing strong support for the independent controllability of key basic materials for high-end equipment.
