Recently, multiple domestic organic silicon new material enterprises have jointly completed the process optimization and upgrading of low-temperature resistant ethyl silicone oil. The new product can maintain stable performance in a wide temperature range of -70 ℃ to 150 ℃, completely solving the industry pain points of traditional lubrication and damping media that are prone to solidification and sudden performance drops in extremely cold environments.
It is reported that the upgraded low-temperature resistant ethyl silicone oil has low surface tension, excellent chemical stability, and further enhanced electrical insulation properties. It can be widely used in instrument damping systems, electrical equipment insulation filling, hydraulic transmission media and other scenarios in high latitude and extremely cold regions. Previously, this type of high-performance special ethyl silicone oil relied on imports for a long time. After the breakthrough in domestic technology, the reference selling price of the product has stabilized at around 150 yuan/kg, and more than 100 upstream and downstream suppliers have completed production capacity docking, with sufficient supply of goods.
At present, the product has completed pilot applications in wind power and oil and gas extraction projects in the extremely cold regions of Northeast and Northwest China. The equipment's winter fault free operation time has increased by more than 40% compared to before, and it will gradually be promoted to high-end fields such as polar scientific research and cold region aviation support in the future.
