Domestic ethyl silicone oil technology achieves new breakthroughs, multi scenario application landing to help upgrade high-end manufacturing

Recently, there have been new developments in the field of organic silicon materials in China. The new generation IOTA 2056 PES ethyl silicone oil has completed full process mass production verification, and the core performance indicators of the product have reached the leading level in the industry. It will provide key lubrication and protective material support for precision instruments, extreme working industrial equipment and other fields.
It is reported that this ethyl silicone oil is made up of polyethylene siloxane as the core component, with a colorless and transparent oily liquid appearance. It has an extremely low flow point and can maintain a stable flow state in an environment of -70 ℃. The long-term use temperature range covers -70 ℃ to 150 ℃, perfectly adapting to the operational needs of equipment in extremely cold regions and high-altitude fields. Unlike conventional methyl silicone oil, the ethyl structure of its molecular side chains gives the material superior lubrication film-forming ability. It can form a uniform and stable protective layer on the metal friction surface to reduce losses, while not corroding non-metallic components such as plastics and rubber, avoiding the swelling and aging problems of seals that are easily caused by traditional lubricants.
In terms of compatibility, this ethyl silicone oil achieves complete miscibility with mineral oil and synthetic oil, without the problem of delamination and precipitation. It can be directly used for upgrading and replacing existing hydraulic systems and lubrication pipelines, greatly reducing the cost of oil change and renovation for enterprises. At present, the product has formed a multi viscosity gradient series, and different specifications from 34cst to 280cst can be adapted to differentiated scenarios such as precision instrument bearings, aviation shock absorbers, and cold engineering hydraulic systems. When applied in the field of precision instruments, it can effectively eliminate the needle vibration of ammeters and speedometers, greatly improving the measurement accuracy and operational stability of equipment.
Industry analysts say that with the rapid development of high-end manufacturing, polar exploration, aerospace and other fields in China, the demand for special lubricating materials with extreme environmental adaptability continues to rise. The mass production of this domestically produced ethyl silicone oil has broken the previous situation of long-term dependence on imports for similar products. Currently, it has completed pilot applications in the Northeast extremely cold field monitoring equipment and Northwest high-altitude aviation instrument projects. In the future, it will be further expanded to more industrial scenarios such as electronic insulation and special release agents, providing strong support for the independent and controllable process of key materials in China.
