Several leading companies in the industry have made substantial progress in precise molecular structure control, green synthesis processes, and other directions. The product performance has reached the international advanced level, and some sub sectors have achieved technological leadership. For a long time, the pattern of international oligopoly monopolizing the high-end ethyl silicone oil market is gradually being broken, and the localization substitution speed in core application fields such as downstream electronics and electrical appliances, building sealing, and automobile manufacturing is significantly accelerating.


As a pioneer in cold resistance among organic silicon special materials, ethyl silicone oil possesses excellent dielectric properties, chemical stability, and low volatility. It can be mixed with petroleum products at will and maintain a stable working state in a wide temperature range of -60 ℃ to 150 ℃. Previously, the high-end ethyl silicone oil market had long been dominated by international giants such as Dow Chemical and Shinetsu Chemical, with the top five overseas companies holding 65% of the global market share. With the continuous increase in research and development investment by domestic enterprises, intelligent manufacturing technologies such as online detection and digital twins have been deeply integrated into the production process. The batch stability of products has been greatly improved, and viscosity fluctuations can be controlled within ± 3%. The residual metal ion index has reached the international standards for similar products.


The current market growth points of ethyl silicone oil are continuously concentrated in high value-added fields such as new energy, aerospace, and medical equipment. Functionalized ethyl silicone oil products such as thermal conductivity modification, flame retardant modification, and antibacterial and anti mold modification are gradually being introduced to the market. In Anhui, the high-purity special silicone oil production line jointly built by Mount Huangshan Meijia and Anhui Hecheng has entered the equipment commissioning stage. ICP-MS whole process detection technology has been introduced, and the products will meet JEDEC international electronic material standards. It is expected that after full production in 2027, it will further fill the market gap of domestic high-end electronic grade ethyl silicone oil and provide key material support for semiconductor packaging, new energy vehicles and other industries.
