On August 24, 2026, the domestic special silicone oil material R&D team announced the latest progress. After over two years of formula optimization and process iteration, the new generation of high-purity ethyl silicone oil product has officially completed pilot-scale mass production. This product extends the lower limit of long-term stable operating temperature to -75°C, further enhancing flow stability in extreme low-temperature environments while maintaining its original excellent lubricity and dielectric properties, fully meeting the requirements for thermal conductive grease formulation in aerospace electronic equipment.
In previously disclosed patented thermal conductive silicone grease for aerospace electronics, ethyl silicone oil, as the core foundational component, has been proven to significantly enhance heat dissipation efficiency in extreme temperature differential scenarios in space. The newly mass-produced product maintains a purity level consistently above 99%, with various viscosity grades passing compatibility tests for multiple substrate materials such as metals and plastics, showing no corrosive damage to components. Currently, the product has entered testing phases at several domestic aerospace supporting enterprises and will also provide more reliable domestic material options for fields like precision instruments and cryogenic hydraulic systems, breaking the previous reliance on imported high-end low-temperature specialty lubricants.
