Structural Description
The multi-branched polyether-modified epoxy silicone oil is a newly developed, structurally innovative dual-end side-chain epoxy polyether silicone oil. By inserting multiple reactive polyether epoxy groups as side chains onto a linear molecular backbone, this product forms a novel multi-branched polyether-modified epoxy silicone oil. While retaining the original characteristics of high reactivity, excellent compatibility, and superior hydrophilicity of epoxy polyether silicone oil, it introduces multiple active functional groups to achieve multi-branched modification of the main chain. This imparts a three-dimensional or even interpenetrating network structure to subsequent modified products, significantly enhancing the spatial cross-linking density of silicone molecules on various materials.
Features and Application Fields
1. In the field of textile hand feel agents: It can serve as a key raw material for a new generation of block copolymerized silicone oil. According to the universal consensus in chemical principles that "structure determines performance," branched polyether-modified epoxy silicone oil can endow the modified ammoniated crude oil with high ammonia value and moderate crosslinking degree, significantly enhancing the richness and fullness of hand feel. This can create a distinct performance differentiation compared to conventional block silicone oils currently available on the market;
2. In the field of resin processing: The new structure of polyether epoxy silicone oil with multi-branch modification can enhance the epoxy equivalent of epoxy resin. Through the chemical reaction mechanism with curing agents, it can increase the interfacial bonding strength of materials, significantly improving their toughness and strength;
