In August 2025, the patent application for "Organic Silicon Monomer Synthesis Process and Fluidized Bed Reactor" by Jiangsu Kesheng Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. attracted industry attention. This technology improves the one-way conversion rate of chloromethane from the industry average of 82% to 91% by optimizing the reactor structure, and increases single line production capacity by 25%.
Innovative design solves industry pain points
Traditional fluidized bed reactors suffer from problems such as silicon powder agglomeration and low heat transfer efficiency. Kesheng patent adds an expansion section at the top of the reaction zone to achieve uniform dispersion of silicon powder through the use of airflow velocity gradient; The bottom cone section adopts a multi-stage gas distribution device to ensure sufficient contact between chloromethane and silicon powder. The matching U-tube heat exchange system controls the fluctuation of reaction temperature within ± 1 ℃, and increases product selectivity to 98%.
The industrialization process is accelerating
According to calculations, a 10000 ton production line using this technology can save 1200 tons of chloromethane annually and reduce the cost of waste salt treatment by 3 million yuan. At present, Kesheng has reached cooperation intentions with Xingfa Group, Hesheng Silicon Industry, etc., and is expected to complete the construction of the pilot plant by 2026. According to Tianyancha data, the company has 162 patents and its intelligent temperature control system has been applied to the Wanhua Chemical Organic Silicon project.
