Ethyl silicone oil - a "veteran player" who has been deeply involved in the demolding field of rubber and plastic products for many years, is now expanding its application boundaries at an astonishing speed. According to industry data, the global market size of ethyl silicone oil has reached 1.092 billion yuan in 2024, with the Chinese market accounting for about 25% and leading the global growth rate.


Traditional advantages are irreplaceable. Ethyl silicone oil, due to its excellent oil solubility and hydrophobic effect, has long been used as an efficient release agent for plastic and rubber products, replacing traditional mineral oil and soap. Coating it on the mold, the product can be easily demolded after hot processing, while ensuring its appearance and insulation performance - the practice of enterprises such as Wuhan Steam Turbine Generator Factory has proven that its effect is far superior to high-temperature cylinder oil and paraffin. SH) clearly stated on the investor interaction platform in May this year that its products such as phenyl silicone oil and vinyl silicone oil can be applied in the field of liquid cooled silicone oil and have made positive research and development progress. And ethyl silicone oil, with its low volatility and high flash point characteristics, also has the natural advantage of entering the liquid cooling track.


The second is aerospace thermal conductivity. The patent applied for by Shenzhen Debang Interface Materials in January this year shows that the thermal grease composed of ethyl silicone oil and phenyl silicone oil can meet the heat dissipation needs of aerospace electronic equipment in extreme space environments. The proportion of ethyl silicone oil in the formula is 3-8 parts, and the proportion of zinc oxide filler is as high as 75% -105%.

As the global market size moves towards 1.865 billion yuan by 2030, competition in this track will only become more intense.
