On July 9, 2026, the China Organic Silicon Industry Chain Collaborative Development Exchange Conference was held in Bengbu, Anhui. At the conference, it was revealed that the domestic ethyl silicone oil industry has formed a new spatial division of labor pattern of "western materials and eastern precision": 75% of the crude monomer synthesis capacity is concentrated in the central and western regions, and the Yangtze River Delta cluster carries 68.5% of the high-end refining capacity. Through a new collaborative mechanism of "quality grading pricing+joint process optimization+digital collaborative platform", the long-standing technological gap between the east and the west is gradually being bridged.


Previously, the silicone oil industry was affected by the off-season of terminals and the decline in exports, and was once trapped in a vicious cycle of "bidding for orders". Recently, individual companies in the industry have jointly introduced price stabilization measures, and the price system of the entire product line has moved up in an orderly manner. The DMC quotation has pulled back to 14000 yuan/ton, and the silicone oil series products have synchronously increased. The profit margin of the ethyl silicone oil industry chain has been reasonably restored. In this context, upstream and downstream enterprises are no longer simply competing for production capacity scale, but instead focus on exploring pain points in demand segmentation scenarios.


At present, the application boundaries of ethyl silicone oil are continuously expanding. In addition to traditional precision instrument damping fluids and rubber plastic release agent scenarios, it has demonstrated irreplaceability in aerospace extreme lubrication, data center liquid cooling, and other fields due to its extremely low pour point of -110 ℃, low surface tension of 20.5~21.8mN/m, and excellent dielectric properties. Many precision manufacturing enterprises in northern Anhui have started to use domestically produced ethyl silicone oil as a special lubricant in bulk, significantly reducing equipment maintenance costs under extreme cold conditions. Industry experts say that with the continuous improvement of supply chain resilience, the global market competitiveness of domestically produced ethyl silicone oil will be further enhanced.
