On July 18, 2026, the green production standards for ethyl silicone oil, led by the domestic silicone oil industry association, were officially implemented. The unified standards were clarified throughout the entire process from raw material purification, production process control to finished product environmental testing, promoting the environmental compliance of ethyl silicone oil products to a new level.


Relying on the excellent weather resistance and safety non-toxic characteristics of ethyl silicone oil, its application boundaries have been continuously extended in recent years. In addition to traditional precision mechanical lubrication and booster pump oil fields, the demand for high-end cosmetics, special textile additives and other civilian fields has also continued to grow. The newly implemented production standards clearly require that the residual volatile organic compounds and harmful impurities in the finished products meet international advanced standards, while the energy consumption and pollutant emissions in the production process are reduced by 22% compared to before.


Industry data shows that the demand for ethyl silicone oil in the domestic market increased by 28% year-on-year in the first half of 2026. With the release of demand for low-temperature lubricating materials in emerging fields such as new energy and precision medical equipment, ethyl silicone oil, which combines high performance and environmental protection properties, will replace traditional lubricating materials in more niche scenarios, and the market growth potential will continue to be released.
