Upgrading the green production process of ethyl silicone oil to meet both environmental and quality standards in the industry

In the second half of 2026, the domestic organic silicon subdivision field of ethyl silicone oil industry will complete the green transformation of the entire industry's production process. The entire industry will adopt a closed-loop synthesis and purification process, completely solving the industry pain points of large solvent evaporation and low by-product recovery rate in traditional production processes. After the transformation, the organic solvent recovery rate in the production process of ethyl silicone oil has increased to over 99.5%, and the energy consumption per unit product has decreased by 32% compared to before the transformation. At the same time, key quality indicators such as residual ring structure and impurity ion content of the product have been significantly optimized.
With the comprehensive popularization of green technology, the total content of metal impurities in domestically produced ethyl silicone oil products can be stably controlled below 0.5ppm, and the release of volatile organic compounds is far lower than the national emission standards for the fine chemical industry. The purity of some high-end specification products has reached electronic grade application standards, and can be adapted to scenarios with extremely high material purity requirements such as temperature control media in semiconductor manufacturing processes and insulation filling of precision electronic components.
Industry related reports show that the overall production capacity of ethyl silicone oil in China has increased by 42% compared to the same period last year after the process upgrade. The product specifications cover dozens of sub models in three major categories: industrial grade, scientific research grade, and electronic grade, which can meet the differentiated needs of different downstream fields. At the same time, a unified product traceability testing system has been established throughout the industry, and core parameters such as viscosity, freezing point, flash point, etc. of each batch of ethyl silicone oil can be traced throughout the entire process. The stability of product batches has been greatly improved, and the domestic ethyl silicone oil industry has officially entered a new stage of green and high-quality development.
