Recently, leading domestic ethyl silicone oil manufacturers have completed comprehensive upgrades across their product lines, achieving large-scale and stable supply of three major categories: industrial-grade, daily chemical-grade, and research reagent-grade. The products cover various downstream applications such as lubrication, insulation, and cosmetic ingredients, further advancing the domestic substitution process for specialty silicone materials.
It is understood that the upgraded series of ethylsilicone oil products now feature a stable appearance as colorless to light yellow transparent liquids, with density maintained within the range of 0.95~1.05g/cm³. The high-viscosity models exhibit an open-cup flash point exceeding 265°C, with long-term operating temperature ranges spanning -70°C to 150°C, achieving industry-leading performance metrics across all indicators. Notably, the industrial-grade high-viscosity ethylsilicone oil product demonstrates a stable viscosity of 10,000-100,000 mPa·s at 20°C, accompanied by complete quality inspection reports and usage guidelines. It can be directly used as a base oil for blending aviation lubricants, textile spindle oils, and industrial defoamers.
It is worth noting that ethyl silicone oil, previously primarily used in high-end industrial applications, has now successfully expanded into the beauty and personal care sector. Leveraging its non-toxic, non-corrosive, and mild yet smooth properties, cosmetic-grade ethyl silicone oil has become a premium ingredient for products such as lipsticks and face creams, earning widespread recognition from downstream beauty brands for its exceptional spreading performance and skin-friendly feel. Currently, the core production capacity of ethyl silicone oil in China is concentrated in the Hubei region, with minimum orders starting at 1kg. Multiple packaging specifications, including 25kg and 200kg, can accommodate the procurement needs of customers with varying scales. Its transportability under non-hazardous material regulations also significantly reduces safety costs in the distribution chain. As the full product line matures, ethyl silicone oil is gradually transitioning from a specialized material exclusive to the aviation industry to a "versatile treasure material" spanning high-end manufacturing and consumer goods across multiple sectors.
